Question:

Why are Hillary supporters pretending that she is being "forced" to do something?

They pretend they don't understand politics and then say that a very politically astute woman is being "forced" to do something. She did not have to quit the nomination race and she does not have to pledge her delegates to BO. When you say she's doing something that she doesn't want to do you are worse than the people you claim you hate who are "doing" this to her. She is playing the game and you are crying for her. This woman is no political sophomore. If she says she wants to do something, why can't you believe her? Is it because she's a woman? Give her credit for being politically savvy enough to know that she is doing what she believes is best or stay out of the discussion. Thanks.

  1. Yes she is politically savvy and if she didn't play along with the party that stomped all over her, her chances to run four years from now are nil.  Her 2012 website has been secured for months.

  2. Its probably because we are being forced to either vote for Obama, or vote for a man whose policies and whose party's platform we find reprehensible.

So we know what its liked to feel that rug of support pulled out from under you and have to bow to circumstances and listen to party leaders when they tell you that they will no longer support you.

Its not crying for her, it may be regretful that the best person was wiped out in favor of someone who does lack much that we need now.

But certainly McCain is not a viable choice, nor is sitting home so he can win, so we will vote for Obama, because while he is better than McCain, hes not as good as Clinton would have been.

She is loyal to her party and will do what is best for it, and for her in the long run. But that doesn't mean that I believe what was done to her is in the best interests of the country as a whole.

  3. Lol

I hope you have the same opinion of her when she is nominated this week ;)

  4. Enjoy the Democrat party being divided... forever. I once voted Democrat, but no longer ever will. I know you'll deny it, but many people feel the same way. Obama is expecting Hillary's supporters to vote for him by default, but he underestimates how many people passed up on the Kool Aid... even within the Democrat party.

  5. Believe me, I think it would be very hard to "force" Hillary to do anything she didn't want to do!  I don't think that anyone knows exactly what she is really going to do at the convention, perhaps she is just priming herself for the next election!  You are right on, as usual!

  6. The Dems have her proverbial arm behind her back and are making her sau uncle thanks to the superdelegates. Last I saw she was winning the overall election count, it was only these "superdelegates" that were against her and the Dems "asked" her to step aside for party unity. If she didn't do what was said, bad things would have happened to her. That's called being forced. For instance, Nixon was forced out of office, he didn't just retire. Same thing here.

Look, personally I dislike Obama and Hillary. But make no mistake, the Dems are forcing her out. That's a fact.

  7. You're joking, right. You think Hillary has a viable option to keep her delegates and contest Obama without wrecking the Democratic Party and probably the Dems' presidential chances? The way politics work today, she would just be ruining herself to actually choose to not relinquish her delegates. Plus, because she's a woman, everyone's expecting her to be nicey-nicey or they'll freak out even more than if a man was trying to pull the same stunt.

So your suggestion that she has any other options, in the current circumstances, is nonsense.
