for example, see this comment below from a Washington Post article (from the "comments" section)

Hillary supporters will certainly get behind the hussein campaign --- to push it off a cliff!

We Hillary supporters will do everything possible to ensure defeat for that Kerry-like shallow, arrogant, platitude-spouting, elitist, inexperienced, narcissistic, flip-flopping gas-bag - who is so mentally deficient from extensive drug use he even has to plagiarize his hollow platitudes, and who hijacked the nomination with fewer votes than Hillary received.

Hillary supporters won't get mad; we will get even.

Best of luck, "sweetie".

  1. It was a long campaign that was pretty close to a tie in terms of votes cast. That meant long-lasting attachments to candidates. One had to lose, it was Clinton. That hurts -- a lot of work went down the drain for her supporters.

I'm a little surprised that it was a man who made that comment (if true). People like to vote for someone "who looks like me." Clinton was obviously the first woman to have a great chance at winning the nomination. She fell just short, and that's crushing. There's always some bitterness with that. If Obama had lost, you would have seen the same thing in the African-American community.

  2. I think it's some GOP supporters trying to split the party.  Most of the pejoratives have been used on faux news.

  3. Hillary supporters can't understand why someone comes out of nowhere to beats what was suppose to be a shoe in for the White House. They are mad because they were slighted as racist for not supporting Obama when they felt that Hillary would have been a better choice. Women feel that she was their only chance to have a woman in the White House in their lifetime. The same for the African American community. My question is if I vote for this guy, will he do what he says he will do. He has no long term history. Had he waited four more years we could have had more history on him.
