Why are ICL & IPL wasting money on 'NON-INDIAN' cricketers?

There is greate loss to Indian economy by providing money to non -Indians.Teams should be only consider Indians.

Simply because the IPL would be NOTHING without all the NON Indian players,look at Brendan McCullum,Adam Gilchrist,Shane Warne and that drug taker Shoiab Akhtar.

IPL sucks but it would be even worse off with out the talent from West Indies,Australia,Sri Lanka,Pakistan and New Zealand....

I agree, just make them domestic competitions. Then we won't have to hear about them, and have our own boards worrying about fitting the IPL into their already hectic schedules.

And can all the Indian players who have played county and league cricket in England please return the money we paid them forthwith? It should only go into the English economy.

without the foreign players the IPL wouldn't be popular(for indians only) that even indian people wouldn't go to the stadium to watch...  

And to someone who said aussies are cry babies? well who tried to sabotage the test match after losing the game?  and who tried to use their money and wealth to stop the game? and who cannot accept that aussies are the world champions and NOT indians?  living in your own world aren't you?  why dont you ask the indian players to play better and not blaming the umpire or anyone for their loss?

If the organizers cared anything for their people they would have done something long ago, but money is their main concern. So if there were no foreign players there would be no interest/no money.Simple as that.

Because  75% of non Indians are performing well and  75%  of Indians are not  performing well

Without  non indians it  will be very boring series

Foreign cricketers have been inducted in IPL and ICL with a view to generate more revenue from the matches.  If only Indian players are involved, these ventures will not be successful as is the case of Challenger Trophy and other domestic tournaments.

cos without them, no-one (not even Indians themselves) would care about it, it would be just another domestic competition that no one would give a rats about, like the Big Bash T20 state tournament they have here
