Why are Ipod ear bud headphones so expensive?

you don't have to think of doing it and pay the employee's salary....just buy it and have a good time....

It has an Apple logo on it, making them $30 too expensive.

Go get some Skullcandy earbuds, I found they work a whole lot better, isolate noise, and are a lot more comfortable that what Apple gives you.

beacuase they are ipod and they are an expensive company to get peoples money they rip u off my dads first ipod didnt work  so he got a new 1 and it doesnt even work half the time it always freezes get a cheap pair of headphones from a differant company not apple if you want them

I think Apple is just taking advantage in people having to buy their stuff because they bought their stuff

They are essentially expensive because they are Apple branded.  I currently own Skullcandy Smokin' buds and FMJ buds.  The Smokin' buds have phenomenal sounds quality compared to the ipod ear buds. They also only cost about 30$.  I will never buy ipod ear buds again for this matter.  If you are in the market to buy new ear buds, do not buy the apple ipod headphones.  If your don't mind spending more, the FMJ ear buds are about 60-80$, but are entirely metal, so if you are constantly breaking headphones, these might be an idea.  I may sound like I am just promoting the Skullcandy brand, but in all honesty their headphones have truly changed my way of thinking and are a much better choice than the apple ipod headphones.  Hope I helped
