Why are Jeff Hardy fans called marks or not real wrestling fans?

Many people say that Jeff Hardy fans are just marks or they don't know wrestling. I don't get it. He's a good wrestler and he's got skills and people like him for that. So why would you call those people marks or not real wrestling fans?

Because his fan think that he's the greatest high flyer of all time which he's not and most of his fan are teenage girls that only like him for his looks not wrestling skills.

Technically, all fans would be considered "marks" by people in the Professional Wrestling industry.

People have their opinion, even if they're wrong. Technically, there is no such thing as a "real wrestling fan", either. Both terms are constantly used incorrectly, and people should be allowed to like who they want.

no jeff's fans are FANS. now cena's fans aren't FANS (b/c all of his fans are little kids).

Not all Jeff Hardy fans are marks, many of the fans have liked him since he was in TNA. They get a bad wrap though because when the WWE pushes wrestlers far and give them a World championship (or at least a chance at one) then a lot of fan girls becomes supporters of him for some reason. Kids also tend to become fans of wrestlers that are being pushed because they are for the most part marks and think that the wrestler is actually one of the best because they beat most of their opponents and hold titles.

It is kind of a shame when wrestlers get pushed really far because when all the temporary fans that support the wrestler just for winning matches join the original fan base it makes all fans of that wrestler look like they only like said wrestler for winning matches, which makes them marks. So it was all the temporary fans that gave Jeff Hardy fans the appearance of marks in the eyes of many.

I'm a HUGE Jeff Hardy fan infact he's my favorite WWE Superstar next to The Undertaker & Edge,but ALMOST everyone on here knows that i'm not a mark.And i'm also a John Cena fan,but i'm 17 going on 18 this September. I do hate Cena's marine gimmick though.

well i'm not a girl but i do agree with you and i LOVE jeff hardy and i dont know i think they should be called wrestling fans a lot of people call jeff hardy over rated but come on he's not jeff is an awesome wrestler that has contributed a lot to wwf/wwe and i think he's great and people should give him more credit than they do
