  1. An initial idea that comes to mind is the Youtube video that showed teenage girls videotaping a toddler on ecstacy.  Should that video be protected or the toddler?

  2. A lot of people don't know

or don't believe that its going on and has been going on even prior to 9/11/2001

Sad really .... walk out onto the street and ask the random person what Madonna's latest antics are, and you will probably get an answer, if you ask what has GREED INC.

and the Congress been up to lately, you get NOTHING.

    krazie!

  3. This liberal hates Viacom with a passion. Kill your TV!

  4. This ruling sucks bad. I don't want anyone knowing what I watch on youtube. Sometimes it some crazy *** S**t. Oh well, I don't guess there is anything we can do so if they want to watch the videos I do so be it. Just another violation of the 4th Amendment.

  5. because its regarding a lawsuit over copyright infringement of posted videos legally protected and owned by viacom.  They are not invading the privacy in an attempt to bring about criminal prosecution.

The constitution protects us from GOVERNMENT oppression, public companies have long been more than legally justified in collecting, selling and warehousing consumer information.  They just have to have a TOS stating such.

This can hardly be considered "domestic spying," but I do find it quite funny that Viacom was able to go to CIVIL court over copyright infringement and gain a "search warrant" of sorts, but our own federal government couldn't do the same when it comes to spying on us citizens.....

This tells me Viacom has an infinitely more credible claim and grounds for this than our own government.....

  6. That bothers me.

The Federal Government has no right to vote away my right to privacy. But then again, they did that a long time ago, Social Security, Patriot Act...

I imagine soon they'll start logging and scanning all of our emails.

BRITS!!! Didn't your government just vote that in?!

    I guess we're next, we're always just a step behind you :-P
