It's not all of them....just a lot of the loud, self-congratualtory types who wouldn't have any ideas if the TV didn't tell them what to feel...

I think what this "meanness" exposes is the fact that many Obama suporters weren't hooked on him, but on "the movement."  Obama allowed them to get really angry and feel superior to others....their two favorite pasttimes.

But this dependence on stridency has hurt Obama over the last week (have you seen him around since Barrackstock in Denver?)... He has depended on the "loud crowd" to draw attention to themselvs while chanting his name....not chanting the blatant sexism and hate as they are today.

Obama's strength has been keeping his campaign on the offensive....not having to stand around long enough to mount a defense.  He's either going to have to slow down the hate from his supporters (and slow himself down) or let it go and further cut off his base (as he has already cut off the anti-war crowd....the anti-Hillary crowd .. and the Rev. Wright crowd..)

It is laughable to see cons criticize liberals on the basis of hypocrisy and meanness.  You guys practically invented the concepts.

It seems that you can dish it out but you get all whiney and hurt when liberals give you a taste of your own tactics.  Well, get used to it.  Taking the high road hasn't worked out well for us because negativity is actually effective. Liberals are going to be using your own tactics against you, except we're not going to stoop quite as low as your level.

Actually, Palin will bring down the McCain campaign. No one wants to vote for someone that's a heart attack away from allowing an inexperience, low state population governor a chance to be President. McCain had a lot of qualified choices for VP and he failed to pick one of them. What happend to Rommey? or Hucklbee? Palin was a small town mayor, small time sportscaster, and an environmental nightmare during an era of "green" energery. Clinton would have been a better pick for McCain!

If you look into Obama's elected history you will note that his specialty is disqualifying opposing candidates.  That's what they did to Hillary, they are trying to do to McCain and Palin and would attempt to do to any republican vice presidential candidate.

Don't take the acts of the desperate democrat party campaign seriously.

Think about it.  If Mitt Romney was the presumptive VP candidate, there would be mormon attacks going on now.

Well, I don't think that they are any worse than the nut case conservatives, who have called Obama, muslim, socialist, etc.

And it is some of the things that Palin has done, etc, that makes her look bad.
