Question:

Why are McCain and GOP supporters *determined* to inflate her actual experience credentials?

She served almost 2 years as governor of Alaska and yet they keep saying it's worth as much as EIGHT YEARS of total experience?

If you were on a job for less than 3 months, would you be able to get away with saying: "I've been here for more than 5 years--having the most experience."-?

I don't think so!

The GOP is placing our country's SECURITY in the hands of the least experienced, least QUALIFIED vice-president since the days of Spiro T. Agnew, Richard Nixon’s first vice president, who was governor of a medium-sized state, Maryland, for two years, and before that, executive of suburban Baltimore County, the expansive jurisdiction that borders and exceeds in population the city of Baltimore.

So why is McCain gambling our nation's future on the idea that his inexperienced running mate is fully "up to the job"?

That's like putting a welding torch in the hands of your 5-year-old kid for the first time ever, and telling your neighbor friends: "Don't worry: He's done this before."

  1. Jacob has NO idea that his messiah wasn't even a mayor LOL, She's got more experience than your guy that is running for president. No wonder Dems have lost the majority of the elections. They're not smart enough to pick a candidate that isn't under FBI investigation

  2. Nothing is being "inflated" during this election cycle except Comrade Obama's ego.  Governor Palin has a record that begins EIGHT YEARS before Comrade Obama's.  She has not been a flip-flopper.  She has not spent 20 years being indoctrinated by a violent racist.  She does not call an admitted terrorist her friend.  She respects the Constitution of the United States.

My guess is that since the Dumocrats couldn't find a real candidate, they plan to manufacture lies about the most probable winners of the uncoming election.

  3. LoL, sense the person you recommend as being the President has  campaigned more than the time he spent as a Senator...is a joke.

She is running as VP not president...I would be more concerned that the person leading the free world have the experience.

  4. All the more reason to vote for Obama.   As far as McCain goes,   age does not mean wisdom it just means old.

  5. Oh...you mean like the democrats wanting to elect a President that has even less experience??? She's running for VP, not President, so she's not expected to know everything.  You want to elect someone for POTUS that knows NOTHING!

Sarah has ALOT more executive experience, the people of alask love her, she's not afraid to stand up to anyone.  In the short time she's been in politics she's actually accomplished alot  -  what again are Obama's accomplishments???  All I know is according to alot of messageboards, he's not well liked in his own state!

She has a son that will be going to Iraq soon...she's visited the troops in Iraq.  This already qualifys her as having more military experience then Obama!  Obama doesn't care about our soldiers.

And according to my son that is Iraq now for the 3rd time..the majority of his soldiers over there don't care about Obama either...they're voting McCain!

  6. Like the democrats will inflate the importance of Obama's picnic planning?  Most likely.

  7. It is shocking he would pick a bimbo. He was trying to get another Hilary but he came so short

  8. They're not. Liberals and Obama supporters are just ticked off as F McCain chose the right person to kick their tails in the election.

Read something about her first before deciding you hate her, okay?

  9. Lies and Political Propaganda, the Republican way!!

Not a diss, I'm just given facts and figures and it is proven!!

  10. The only truth is their "TRUTH".

  11. You are silly.  You could easily change this question to be about Obama!  Only Obama has LESS experience!

  12. Well, the obvious answer is "to make her look good".  Like how Hannity made McCain's affair seem okay because "he was a POW".

However, experience has shown to not be a necessity when running for office.  Chester A. Arthur only had a year of government experience as vice president before becoming president, and during his term he was a fairly successful reformer.  It all really comes down to your mindset.

Despite this, I honestly don't think she'd be an effective commander-in-chief if forced into office.  So far she's merely a culture icon ("I'm a hockey mom!") and nothing more.

  13. McCain supporters, make no mistake. If John Mc. wins in November his VP choice WILL become POTUS before his term is up.

No offense meant to Alaskans but the issues she faced in a mostly rural state do not compare to the onslaught of pressure-packed national and international issues she will be confronted with in Washington.

    Recent Quote:

“I think she is the most inexperienced person on a major party ticket in modern history,” said presidential historian Matthew Dallek.

  14. When was the last time a Republican spoke the truth during an election?

  15. They are totally grasping at straws. Regardless of what they say, everyone knows that was a bogus pick.

  16. I don't think she REALLY wants this job. She's been put in a really awkward position.

Larry Kudlow of CNBC asked her about the possibility of becoming McCain's ticket mate.

Palin replied: “As for that VP talk all the time, I’ll tell you, I still can’t answer that question until somebody answers for me what is it exactly that the VP does every day? I’m used to being very productive and working real hard in an administration. We want to make sure that that VP slot would be a fruitful type of position, especially for Alaskans and for the things that we’re trying to accomplish up here for the rest of the U.S., before I can even start addressing that question.”

  17. The Palin family is proof that the Democrats are wrong on domestic issues while John McCain is showing the Democrats are wrong on international issues.  Whenever Obama brings up a sob story about the decline of America or his "struggles," the Republicans can bring up that the Palin family did it better and with less money than the Obama and Biden family.

  18. But 4 years in the Senate is a wealth of experience? Has Obama commanded a military unit? Worked with (not within) with a legislature? Formulated a budget? Had to make split second decisions when a disaster happened?

Besides, there is a difference between the teacher (President) and the student (VP) learning on the job.

  19. So, for the last nineteen months when Obama's experience was questioned, you Democrats said that it didn't matter. Now, that McCain has picked a young Governor, experience is suddenly an issue. You sure are a confused bunch.

  20. I have no clue. I was really shocked to see his pick yesterday. Before she was governor she was the mayor of a town of only 8000! Not to mention she has a suit pending against her.
