The issue is none of their business, Ruben Berrios and his Socialist friends in the Catholic church have no stone to grind for the Puertorrican people in foreing Socialist countries; especially one like Mexico who has the huge embarrassing issue of not being able to keep Mexicans in their land because their own government encourages Mexicans to take over the "American Territory". We resolve our issues with the United States and don`t have any need for any outsiders to get involved.

  1. Same reason America is messing around with MIddle Eastern countries, every country wants another country to boss around.

  2. Before the Spanish-American war, Puerto Rico was under Spanish rule. The king was to send ships of goods here because he ordered people to establish settlements here, but in doing so, he forgot to continue with the supply and Mexico stepped in to help Puerto Rico since Mexicans were also here. So, Mexico created La Real Cedula de Gracia which was Mexican Government funding Puerto Rico, in other words, Mexico was giving 100% to Puerto Rico since the king of Spain was spending on his luxuries. But this Real Cedula did not last long because then came the war of 1898 and United States took over Puerto Rico. Now, it is up to the Puerto Rican people to decide for the status, but since we are territory of United States and by the Constituions of United States and Puerto Rico (both are basically the same), the Congress of the United States has to make the descicion of Puerto Rico. Now, UN has told Bush that "No more countries in the world can keep territories which is now banned. So it is either to make Puerto Rico a state or give Puerto Rico independence". With this, if UN decides for Puerto Rico because Congress of the United States can not decide on our status, then the UN will give Puerto Rico the independence and then Mexico can own Puerto Rico as theirs because of the Real Cedula De Gracia from hundreds of years ago.

What was one of Mexico could be their again. But only Congress has power of Puerto Rico and the time is running out. They better decide Statehood for us because we have since WWl been in wars deffending and the democracy that  the United States stands for and we do accept the United States as sole "owners" of Puerto Rico, in othe words, the United States has say over us.

  3. Do you know that Ruben Berrios is from PR, and not from Mexico?
