  3. me 2 - i'm always getting them.

Do they really think people are stupid enough to fall for all that c**p.

Those emails are so annoying, no sooner have i one deleted, then i get another one the next day.

  4. Because there are a lot of them.  Nigeria is about the size of Western Europe.  I get them from Nigeria, Sierra Leone, South Africa, Australia but mostly from the USA.

  5. well that's true

  6. It's easier than trying to earn a living, like i have done for 29 years almost.

  7. Scams!? You mean I didn't inherit 500 million dollars!? It looked so real! Except for the terrible grammar and English!

  8. This is a geuine ltter from HSBC bank services. We need you very mch urgently to conform your account details by inputing them to us via the email computer.

Please to not delay as security may be compromise by no response.

    Sincerly,

Milay Watumbo, Customer Services HSBC (Nigerian high street branch)

Its either that or 'insane rich guy' giving away millions of dollars if I only send him some security.

  9. I was talking to a Nigerian woman recently on this very subject.  She said "So many of us do it - and we teach our children - these skills and this mindset,  are handed down the family just like any other skill or way of life"

She told me that some Nigerians consider it a legitimate way to relieve greedy westerners of their surplus cash.
