Why are Ping golf clubs so freakin expensive?

A top brand; believe me if you are a low handicapper - ping is worth every penny. A weekend golfer or high handicapper should not bother.

research and development costs . comprenhise custom fitting . by far the industries most comprehensive . most advenced cosmetics , as far as blending , extreme game improvment . into a small near classic head . with all the fitting options , multi shafts options . compared to other game improvment irons . thet are cheaper . for example . putter line. just as good as 500 dollar putters for 60 to 70 percent less . the price is shocking , as far as immediate score reduction . cheaper than any other . lifetime warrenty . once clubis registered , you breake 8 iron 2011 , no replacement charge . not even shipping . once you purchased , wedges etc , very cheap .

they aren't that expensive I'm only 12 and I have ping I-10 iron and g-10  driver hybrid and woods

Because so many " freakin " golfers are willing to pay the price !! Less demand means lower prices.

It's not just Ping that are so "freakin" expensive but all top branded models.

Basically the big brands pay alot of money to the professionals to use their equipment (sponsors)

Like Nike pay Tiger alot of money to use their drivers, irons etc.

I believe this leads them to be able to stick prices up alot:

a You pay for the mystique of owning a Ping . You are paying for the advertising and endorsements they pay out. If you are an average golfer you can do as well with unbranded clubs.
