Why are Qld cheating by selecting NSW born and raised players?

Typical of Qld bending the riles, they really are a sorry State and rellie upon players born and raised in Sydney, Minto, Auburn etc.....GO GET YOUR OWN, If you can!

The rule saids were you layed your first game of senior (U16) rugby league and all those players did. And the rules were written by you New South Welshman so don't winge about something you created.

Because their players are too busy getting Burned in the Cane Fields or being run over by the boys in blue, or maybe they went colourblind from too much sunning on the beaches. Ohh, maybe it was just because we have better players and they need some of our players to show them our tactics and plays. Either way, they are certainly misdirected.....

this is a difficult question... I guess they had to come up with the rule that it is where you play your first senior football... otherwise it would rule out those born anywhere else. Go the maroons

Edit: Pete C, Sterlo may have been born in QLD, but raised there he wasn't. His parents brought him to Wagga Wagga at an early age, & he began his RL career at 14 in NSW, & that's the difference. He NEVER played in Qld & it's all about where you played your junior league. Get informed before you rip into someone!

Can you remember back to before State of Origin?    Where did the MAJORITY of NEW SOUTH WALES TEAMS come from?   QUEENSLAND, they were playing for the BIGGER MONEY It   was not until the GREAT FRONT ROW FORWARD ARTIE BEETSON, Captained the First State of Origin Side that started ORIGIN,  as we KNOW and LOVE it today.  I say GO YOU BLUES, go out onto the HALLOWED TURF  of ANZ STADIUM tonight and be once BEATEN again by the MIGHTY MAROONS.  GO!!! YOU CANE TOADS, GO!

Why did NSW select Peter Stirling, Chris Johns or Ken Nagas? All these were born in sunny Queensland.

NSW made the rules and can't handle them being used against them.

Ok so did you know that by rights Steve Rogers should have played for Qld. Another player whos name escapes me, should have played for Qld, but since he was a half back and Alfie Langer was playing at the time, knowing he would never get picked for Qld played for NSW. But as soon as Alfie retired guess what became a Queenslander.

Why hasn't sonny bill and benji been picked for NSW ? tonie carroll has played for NZ and can now play for qld. inglis played his first "senior" game for nsw but somehow seems to have slipped the net. It is all pro qld so that they can have a competitive side and that was the aim of the series. NSW are always classed as the baddies, if they win or lose!
