Why are Quokkas endangered?

  1. Because the biggest colonies are on islands of the WA coast so their population cant grow too much plus the majority of the islands are inhabited and they are killed accidentally (and sometimes on purpose by nasty people).  Colonies on the mainland are threatened by introduced species (cats and dogs mainly)

    I think they are only "vulnerable" at present because of where they live however they could become endangered.
