Her experience consists of being the Mayor of a town of 6500 and Governor of a state with a total population of 500,000 people for 2 years. I'm sure being Governor of Alaska she's had some real big challenges come across her desk, like some Alaskan Indian wanting to build his igloo in the wrong place and her having to decide if he can or not.

She's has a couple children, one with Down Syndrome and is currently pregnant. How is she going to be a viable VP when she gets big as a house and after she has her baby, we won't see her much for at least a couple months. McCain picked her just for those reasons and also in an attempt to win over some Hillary supporters. He would never pick a VP who would over shadow him, which includes all the choices he had. Palin will never disagree with him, or speak her mind. We all know how McCain has a history of treating women poorly. Does he not think people don't see this? She will be his Stepford VP, as Cindy is his Stepford wife. And if something were to happen to McCain, we're stuck with a President who is going to be commander in Chief who literally knows nothing except what's happening in Alaska.

One other VERY important thing people should know is she and her husband are both oil people (WEALTHY) and she recently Ok'd the placement of hundred's of miles of oil lines in Alaska. So much for alternative energy methods and getting rid of our dependence of oil.

McCain is so desperate at this point and totally grabbing for straws to save him. His pick of Palin only confirms he has the judgmentof a 5 year old, or a senile 72 year old.

Please know, I think she's probably a lovely person, but a VP pick. Come on. Let's get real.

  1. She's NOT pregnant

  2. belittling a female candidate is not a good idea.

And saying she's not readu or experienced enough actually refllects back on voters concerns about Obama.

So if he expereince is an issue to you, then Obama's inexpereince will be a concern for other voters.

  3. Potential first woman VP - she adds some much-lacking celebrity status to McCain's ticket.

Her lack of experience actually highlights Obama's lack of experience.

Clever and risky choice.  I don't think it will pay off for McCain, but it was a bold move.

  4. McSame couldn't pick a white male, that would have smelled to much. it's a pure political move, most likely by Rove and Cheney, the puppet Masters

  5. You really need to re read your sources.

Don't be afraid of a woman who is smart and dedicated and a multitasker.

  6. He's not senile. You've already made up your mind, so why are you even bothering to ask???

We're excited because they're going to win.

  7. Because they are mostly Horney old men

  8. you 're the man and i loved reading this

  9. Really no sense pointing out all of the false allegations in your question - just be happy in your choice to vote for Obama and stop the rhetoric.

  10. They have to at least pretend to be excited to hide the fact they know he f'd up!

  11. I agree. She is a good politician but I don't think she's a good vp choice at all.

  12. **Cue 40 Republicans ignoring Palin and describing Obama as having no experience..**

  13. For McCain, at the age of 72, to pick this "outsider" as his VP pick is just plain nuts.  Can you picture this woman as President?  It's just too much of a possibility and, in my opinion, totally unthinkable!

  14. Well said.

    Sarah ain't no Hillary. Period.

And now old John has a real woman to kiss and hug.

    To brighten his twilight days.

  15. You forgot that she voted against adding polar bears to the endangered species list.

  16. Palin has no clue what the VP Does?

Should she at least know the VP represents the nation NOT just her home State?

and Lies about her using her office for personal squabbles

Palin’s reformer image took a hit last month when she was accused of attempting to get a state trooper fired. That state trooper was her former brother-in-law who had gone through “a messy divorce” with her sister. After the trooper’s boss wouldn’t act on the governor’s request, she fired him. Though Palin says she doesn’t “have anything to hide” and she “didn’t do anything wrong there,” an investigation has found that one of her aides pushed the firing:

Gov. Sarah Palin on Wednesday revealed an audio recording that shows an aide pressuring the Public Safety Department to fire a state trooper embroiled in a custody battle with her sister. http://www.adn.com/monegan/story/492964....

“She (Palin) really likes Walt a lot, but on this issue she feels like it’s, she doesn’t know why there’s absolutely no action for a year … it’s very troubling to her and the family. I can definitely relay that.”

The Legislature hired an investigator to look into whether Monegan was fired because he wouldn't discipline Wooten. Palin says that if there is a “smoking gun," this is it
