Why are Spain and Argentina so racist towards the Chinese?

We've all seen the lovely pics the Spain put out:

But now Argentina seems like a bunch of racist fools too:

And some people actually condone behavior like this and defend what they did, pathetic.

idk, i'm a chinese born in the u.s. and it's sad when i see this. there's nothing like bias and sterotyping to make your day.

I think is a way of getting "fame" or attention...toward the host country, that's all.

Te countries arent racially diverse. So  its not common fo rthem

I think it's because those countries aren't as ethnically diverse as other countries such as the U.S.

Many people in rural areas of smaller countries probably live their whole lives without actually meeting or making friends with an asian. So the only thing they know about asians are the stereotypes they see on TV.
