Why are Supersonic Syd and Eddie (Little and Large) not on telly anymore?

For some reason I had got it in my head that Eddie Large had died but happily he hasn't - though he was very ill for a time.  Unfortunately the two Ls have fallen out big time.  I saw them both on a 'where are they now' programme earlier in the year and they couldn't even be interviewed in the same room.  There was a definite air of edge and grievance as they spoke too.

Such a shame after so many years.  Life's too short & all that.
