Why are UK electrical retailers still selling tellies which are not DVBT ready?

With the digital switchover underway, why are shops still stocking televisions without integrated digital tuners?

  1. Analogue televisions are still sold because there are still analogue broadcasts and will be until 2012. Some parts of the country are still unable to recieve DVB, and as we move closer to the final days analogue televisions will become more rare in the shops.


  2. Because many people prefer to have the digi box separate from the tv that way they can have a pvr recorder

  3. Because a lot of people are happy using digital boxes and sattalites.

  4. Because they don't want to lose money on the tv's that they still have in stock, so they sell them to people who don't know any better and make some cash before the switchover, basically, they are tight and evil
