Why are Virgos such bad liars and why do they keep doing it?

Virgos are dedicated to finding the facts.  Once found the truth is hard to deny even to themselves.   Lying is just not in line with Virgo's character.

They're bad liars because lying is not their nature.  If something is not in your nature, when you try to do it, you will feel uncomfortable.  Most of us don't keep trying to do it.  

We're not good at it like the air signs.

I don't like to use the word "Hate" but hate lying and I hate lies.

As a Virgo I don't see the need to lie because we are perfect.... OK JK guys. Virgos value truth in everything. Its all about honor.

I wouldn't say Virgos are bad liars. I do met a few who are capable to manipulating truth or hide them and still get away from it (even though I only realised the truth after a while).

But one things or sure, they are the neverous-reck kind of people. So sometimes they may give themselves out. Why they keep doing it?

I would say that because they are mutable signs and these signs like to take risk and gamble. I guess they enjoy this walking along the edge kind of feeling.

earth signs can be good liars, as they can have very serious images and cold facades, but, usually we don't and therefore it is not easy for us.

the reason a virgo would lie repeatedly is because they want acceptance and don't realize how bad they look when they tell ridiculous tall tales. virgo wants to be accepted and looked up to and to be prestigious. usually earth signs learn early on how to earn respect instead of trying to command it or demand it. some never learn it though, and for them they will always feel out of place; like they are cheating themselves.....

I don't think of them as liars. I have seen them throw big pity parties though, to get family and friends to protect them from someone they've attacked verbally.

Lol, Virgos tend to lie for one reason only, they have expressed themselves and it was not taken well, so the Virgo just says, oh well this person can't handle what I say, so I'll just say whatever. Virgos dont lie well cuz they rather just tell you the straight truth, no matter how blunt, but oce Virgo commits to that lie, they will pretty much stay committed to it, getting them to admit their wrong is next to impossible.

I am a Virgo and I am a master liar. People believe me more when I am lying than when I am telling the truth. Though I am good at it, I don't lie much,I usually do it  just to cover up my sneakiness lol

Personally, I think the mutable signs are more susceptible to being fickle-minded, changing their minds than any other modality...but because Virgo is an Earth sign that also stresses on responsibility, fidelity, it is more difficult for them to accept that dual side of their nature than let's say, Gemini or Sagittarius.

When they lie, they might have done it because they vacillate, cannot decide on an outcome and then regret it later...hence, they take back their words or try to come up with bad excuses, which others may see through easily. Because this is a service-oriented sign that is supposed to be reliable, it might be harder for them to accept this facet of their personality.

I have several Virgo's that I consider friends, a couple of family members, and a couple of Virgos who have karmically messed me over, so to speak.

None of them were good liars.

It's just not comfortable for them as they tend to be want to use logic and reason to convince others instead of emotion.

Liars and cons usually appeal to the emotions of a person instead of using clear, reasonable explanations to convince.

Virgos are bad liars because they don't do it as much as other people. And they keep doing it because they need the practice to be as good as fire signs.

(And I said it in just two sentences as opposed to an entire rambling, babbling novel....blah blah blah....)
