  1. I've been told that you can't do the tricks on them that you can on the more expensive ones.  My kids told me that so it could have been an excuse.  I bought them $150.00 skateboards and they still can't do the tricks.  But Jason Lee the actor that plays Earl in My Name Is Earl was a champion skateboarder and he learned and even invented moves on a plastic skateboard his mom bought him at KMart.  I am not familiar with WalMart skateboards but I have seen some at Target and KMart that are plain but look like they are made as well as the expensive ones for about $25.

  2. Because it's Wal Mart, made in China by little boys who don't know how to skate board.  It should be called China-Mart.  Don't worry they're still getting paid one cent a day! :)

  3. Because its walmart. Walmart stuff is never as good as what it could be. I mean there is the occassional good thing but most of the time it is just junk toys and such made in China with lead in the paint.

  4. 2 reasons:

    1)  The construction is not the same as a professional style board.  The equipment needed should be precision engineering and materials.  Even an uneven hardness in a truck bushing could make the difference between balance and a face plant.

    2)  It's obnoxious, but the truth.  Skaters have always been critical of other's deck.  I know we were back when I skated and nothing will get you laughed at harder than showing up with a "flea market board."  Skate shop decks are made by companies that skate, not the case with Wal-Mart and that translates into an inferior product.

  5. Unreauis, that's a pretty racist comment, considering you put a smile and that Bboy DiSpirit is Chinese..
