This is a rhetorical question but I surmise a few deeply affected inferiors will answer anyways. We know why Denmark is happier than Zimbabwe.

  1. I read that article this morning. I thought that it stated that part of Denmark's scores were a result of its acceptance and tolerance of other races and diversity. However, it did say that Zimbaw was the unhappiest country in the world. I'm sure some of it has to do with money and economic development as opposed to skin color.

  2. Possibly the answer has to do with a lack of tensions!

Are you simply referring to racial diversity?  I understand that in Zimbabwe there is or has been (until many ran away out of fear of Mugabe etc) a great deal of 'Tribal' diversity.

    Sash.

  3. Zimbabwe is also pretty lacking in diversity race wise, so i think the main point is the freedom and economic factors. also , diverse countries, like the USA, with a wider variation in wealth lends itself to being less happy overall. the not so wealthy blame the other races for their misfortunes, rather than working to improve themselves through education and job training. Note i didn't specify which race. i believe poor whites and poor blacks blame each other for their lack of wealth, when in fact it is a culture of blame instead of hard work amongst those affected that cause a large part of the wealth disparity.

  4. yeah, its easy for a country to say that its people love other races when it doesn't necessarily have to deal with them... or at least problems that are related to racial issues. i had also seen a program on TV similar to this article. it was talking about how Denmark was the happiest place in the world or something. that's pretty cool...
