Why are Yoga lessons expensive?

The cost of yoga lessons depends on a lot of factors. It is expensive if you go for private or semi-private lessons, the size of studio and class, and the qualification of the instructor. Yoga classes in my area cost from $5-$15. You can get discounted rate if you enroll as a group (i.e. group of 5 - 10 people). There are also instructional DVDs and online yoga lessons that you can do while at home.

Yes! It's a human nature. Yogis need to eat in order to live and give more value for you! So, there is no wonder, if you get a tremendous lessons value for just few bucks.

They actually aren't that expensive. Think about it - 10 bucks for an hour long class? That's actually cheap! Someone taking an hour of their time to teach you yoga.

And yeah, even yoga instructors have to eat sometimes.

Everybody wants something for nothing.
