The only person I have ever heard say they wouldn't vote for Obama because he is Black was a Democrat.

Because a large part of the country, including democrats, are racist.  It has little to do with political ties.  It has to do with the way they were raised, and their reactions to the media, influences from their acquaintances,  and their experiences in life.

May I ask why so many Democrats are? Any way it has nothing to do with a person political standing but rather their belief system. Many Republicans are actually not racist. Just like I hope I can assume many democrats are not, but just remember a racist is not because of their skin color, but rather because of their disliking of another race, regardless of which races are involved.

Because that large portion has never traveled outside the US and just assumes that America has EVERYTHING so there's no need to travel and see other things.  

Not all republicans think this way, but most of them have this ill belief in their head..."Don't f*ck with us, or we'll just nuke your country."
