Question:

Why are alcohol products not required to list nutritional info such as calories on the bottle?

That's fine if they "get around to it" but why are they currently exempt especially if they have such high caloric content the consumer may not be aware of?

  1. It will change.  Wine and lager have the highest amount of calories in them.  A pint of lager is meant to have more calories than a mars bar!!  They have just changed all the food labels so that it has fat, salt, etc on them.  They will get round to changing the alcohol labels
