Why are all Pro Rugby Players so huge?

Even the naturally skinny guys are huge in rugby. I am a skinny guy and trying to bulk up myself.

Why are all these guys so big?

Is it that big guys are attracted to the game or the workout they do?

What is their workout?

  1. yo they have to go to the gym everyday to become huge yesterday i saw the world cup of England  ......... ,you know the rest but anyway did you see how they were tackling each other.  wow

  2. Because the other guys are huge. Remember Jonah Lali Lomu in SA in '95 running with two guys hanging on to him?  Size is seen to be important so the whole thing escalates.

  3. Cuz playing with balls all day is real work out!

  4. Lots of weights. i play rugby and all the players i know go to the gym about 4-5 times a week and take supplements

  5. Because they are full time pros and use lot's of supplements to bulk themselves up!

  6. They either use steriods but they generally workout and they are so strong because they wear bionic vests

  7. Because, rugby is how they earn a living, and being healthy enough to get paid so that you can pick up the ladies is very important. If you play recreationally, "bulking" is not THAT important, but if you have higher aspirations you should have be bulking already. That is, unless you are 12, then you are just in time. Personally, i feel off-season lifting workouts should be olympic style lifts, for the explosiveness and tons of sprints.
