Why are all of these individuals interested in a firm's financial statements?

  1. a.to discover whether or not the firm's accounitng principles are reasonable; and if so, to discern what they've made or lost,

    b. to see whether or not they'll get paid back.

    c. to see what the company is doing and whether they'll make their bonuses.

    d. Should they go long or short?

    e. Did they pay their taxes?

    f. Have they fully and fairly reported their actual condition?

    g. Is there a surplus profit extracted from a failure to pay adequately high wages?
