Why are all the kids on Saudi Arabia Little League Baseball Team blond? Are there blond kids in Saudi Arabia?

i dont know about this league, and if the kids are saudis or not

but in saudi we have blond people, not a lot, but it is not uncommon at all

personally, many non saudis surprised that i am a saudi

they got certain idea bout a saudi look

.. my mother is lebanese my father saudi, but my saudi roots goes to former soviet union muslim nations ..

and i consider myself very saudi

and so is, so much of the saudi population, especially in hijaz, a mixture of so many different bloods ..

apparently people haave the assumtion that all people in the middle eastern are the typical tan skins covered head to toe just like there are white people in africa there are blonde kids in saudi arabia

lool ... yup , every child is adorable blond or not :) ,, i didnt c this league though , but there r lots of blond kids and grown ups in saudi :) ... but why do ppl think that saudis r barrnets or tanned ? :) .... the king is white :) ...

saudis are not represented by one single race of people..

There are blacks, browns, blondes, orientals,, all races represented in the saudi nationalities..

SaudiArabia many hundreds of years ago was a barren desert land and only inhabited by nomatic people coming from all over on the trade routes across asia to N. Africa and Europe.. People settled in areas where it was most commerce cause it probably was too hard to travel back to their original homeland.. So once Saudi became a national country, All the people inside were given citizenship.. So there are people from all over the world living in SAudi from hundreds of years ago.. I am a school teacher and I teach blonde white skinned blue eyed kids as much as brown black oriental.. all considered arabs and speak fluent arabic.. its amazing...

The reason the Saudi Team is blond is to cause this type of question.  The team is mostly from Saudi Aramco oil company and includes boys from all nationalities, including Saudi's.  There are as many Mohammed's, Abdullah's and Ahmed's as there are Bill's, Bob's and David's.  I don't think any of them are actually blond, but the statement of "it doesn't matter where you are from, just play ball" helps promotes the teams theme.

BTW Saudi Arabia has been to the Little League World Series 15 times.
