Why are all thoes famous celebrities treated like gods?!?

i mean people pay thousands of dollars every year to see these people or hear them at a concert. so what do you guys think should they be this famous or should we treat them like the humans they are

We made them that way. I still treat them like everyday human beings they're nothing special to me - just someone who reads or sings lines for a living and has a stage, they wipe their butts like everyone else - or some of them may have someone do it for them.

I'm guessing that there are many reasons these people are treated as more important than others.  Gods??? Nah.

If my life was boring and empty ( it is NOT) I may get lost in the drama of the lives of celebs.  I may pay good money to see these people do what they do.   They are basically commodities, like other working people in that they are objectified...to sell products, movies, songs and so on.  

I do not personally see them as anything but human beings.  If I want to be entertained, I may catch a movie or go to a concert from time to time.  Treat them like humans..yes...makes good sense.
