Why are all toyodas sold in america made in america today?

  1. Foreign-based manufacturers like Toyota can identify models like the Camry as ``domestic" cars because they meet the government yardstick of having 75 percent or more of their parts made in the United States or Canada.


  2. the average Japanese worker gets paid more than the United State's worker. GM should figure this out. That it is not the labor force that is the problem but poor design and upper management that is the demise of the american auto industry.

  3. So there are no import taxes (duty) applied to the vehicles.  It decreases the price meaning more cars being sold.
