Why are alot of people's quesations (including mine) being reported and deleted when they followed the rules?

Salam. I was wondering why alot of people's questions(including mine!) that DID NOT break the guidelines-were just asking about whats haram and halal, etc, Islam, etc-are getting reported and deleted?' Maybe its trolls....what are trolls?

It was pobably somebody that dosen't like muslims.

But they need to start respecting other people's religion.

We can respect theirs but they can't respect ours.

Trolls are mythological creatures that live under bridges.

They extort money from children or eat them.

Modern trolls are just people with nothing to do.

They don't even get any money or food and don't get to eat the children.

There are a lot of bitter "playa haters" online.  Their only joy in life appears to be bringing misery to others, no matter how trivial the misery is.

sis just appeal. It will get reinstated. I've won all my appeals so far, both on question and answers. You do have to motivate well though.

my questions get deleted too ;(

maybe it's just people playing around and reporting everyone. Its dumb i know. we can't do anything about it.

EXACTLY MY POINT!!!!!   you ask a simple question about Islam, trying just to increase your knowledge and some stupid TROLL reports you and gets your question yanked and a nasty letter from yahoo answers!  like, if you even MENTION the fact that Aiysha was only NINE when she was married to the prophet mohammed (pbuh)--there are trolls LINING up to give you THUMBS DOWN and report you for ABUSE.

it's just not right.

I don't think Yahoo checks it out very well when people click on the link to report an question or answer.  And, sadly, a lot of times things are reported because someone clicks on the link to report it by mistake or prejudiced people start reporting things just to harrass.  I took it really personally the first time it happened to me, then I saw a lot of people complaining their totally acceptable answers or questions were deleted for no reason.
