Why are anti-gunners so paranoid?

If the story is true it sounds to me like the pro-gunners are paranoid!

Those activists are afraid that if you have some freedom and liberty, you might use it irresponsibly.

They don't understand that, responsibility is what freedom is all about and the court system is remiss in enforcing the law when individuals violate the boundaries of responsible behavior.

THEY would rather take away ALL freedoms.
