Why are atheists so eager to prove that God doesn't exist? they show no respect for christians who believe in God always making fun of their God but we don't make fun of their science. just like they don't have all the answers to science we don't have all the answers to our religion. If you don't believe in God then that's ok but don't go on a rampage to prove he doesn't exist.

  1. Look, the way I see it is, for every insane atheist here, there is an insane christian here to counter-act them. The same thing with the more sane ones among us. Occasionally I fall into a sort of 'dark wolf' phase where I become pretty thick headed and arrogant, but other times like now I'm more mellow and open about the flaws of both sides.

  2. I don't do this, but maybe it's because we are tired of people harassing us about god. Only when he is gone will we get peace and quiet.

  3. the truth is that you try to discredit our science. but you have no basis on which to do so. we have millions of possible arguments on our side, but you have no logical ones. we attack god because your religion has been the cause of countless deaths and wars. it is currently destroying our planet simply because so many christians can't accept science. we are in a justifieds war agains't religion. the first war that science has ever caused.

  4. That would be fine with me, except Christians use their religion to discriminate and to try to get mythology taught as science or to justify their willful ignorance.  These actions have an impact on my life.

  5. I'm not eager to prove god doesn't exist because I do not have proof that an invisible, ageless deity that does not produce energy, can't be consistently tested, and has no measurable effect on the world doesn't exist.

This is okay. I don't need to. Nobody's proved he's existed.

  6. Why are Christians so eager to prove that Their God exist?

    It goes both ways, idiot.

  7. and why do theists are eager to prove that their gods exists and try to shove their beliefs  to us, atheists?

  8. I don't believe in God- I'm not eager to prove anything.

  9. ive never been on a "rampage" michelle to prove god doesnt exist, or for any reason actaully

i just anaswer and ask qs in a q a site

soem of the qs ask my opinions on my beleifs and non bleeifs, as they do yours and i simple state them

soem of them ask for details and i give them

some of them ask for reasons and explanations and i give them

if you do the same then you are equally on a rampage to prove god exists if i am on one to prove he does not by doing so

maybe, this is just how you are interpreting atheists answering questions, maybe its not really how it is but just how you think it is

consider the next "rampage" you see

consider whether it really is a rampage, or just an answer that has some opinions and views  that are differing to yours

  10. Nope, just here to stop the insanity.

  11. Well, if Christians didn't vote according to their beliefs I think atheists would not care about disproving the existence of god(s). But since fundamental Christians are more and more invading politics and rule this country (U.S.) atheists have a valid reason to try and halt this development. The way to do so is to convince believers that god does not exist which would, hopefully, have an effect on how believers exercise their right to vote.

  12. I agree. I think the problem may be that some groups seek to convert people to their own faith and that gets tiresome.

However, I am Jewish. My opinion is that I respect others beliefs (or lack of them) and I wish they would do the same for me. Often the door of respect seems to swing only one way.

Then, you have militant atheists who every bit as rabid in their denial of religion as the "fundies" they say they hate are in their celebration of it. Most true atheists simply don't care about something they think does not exist. Those who spend so much time trying to disprove G-d have a deep seeded hatred of G-d and religion. Perhaps they had bad experiences as children, who knows.

Many atheists contend their lack of religion proves their superior intelligence. Fine. Clap Clap Clap. They are super smart and we religious folk are super stupid. Ok. Clap Clap Clap for them. Now, that we have that out of the way, I would just like to learn about other religions and faiths without having people piping up saying things that are irrelevant to the conversation/debate.

Lack of proof of G-ds existence does not automatically mean G-d does not exist. Also, for me, the world itself is proof that G-d does exist. It is how the "proof" is seen and interpreted.

I just wish YA had more respectful people on here but the annonymity of the computer allows people to act in ways they would dream of acting in person.

So, I either ignore them try to get the "Ok you are so smart and I am so stupid clap clap clap" out of the way egos can be stroked and then once in a while they will answer the question or respond in a responsible manner.

Of course, you have generalized atheists. Some are very very responsible, well versed in religion and are respectful that others believe in G-d. These are the atheists that are interesting and I enjoy on YA. I like to read these people's points of view on things. They answer questions by actually answering and not just slamming others or saying something stupid and childish like "If Jesus were born in Brooklyn....." or "G-d is a closet cross dresser".

I may not agree with what they say (as they don't agree with what I say) but they are respectful.

Atheists are like everyone on here. Some are great, some are bullying, some are egomaniacs and some immature.

Ignore those of any religion (or lack thereof) that you know are not going to engage in civilized conversation.

  13. Religious delusion is dangerous to everyone on earth.  It's day is done.

  14. dont need to go on a rampage

Your god is just a fictional character in a collection of fairy tales,

Just because people choose to think donkeys can talk and the earth is flat, does not mean they should ge respect for that,.

  15. I don't need to prove no gods exist....they've done that themselves for thousands of years.

  16. If it's just *my* science I demand that you turn off your computer right now!  And actually there are a huge number of fundies trying to discredit evolution just because it shows up the bible as being utter nonsense.

But I'll happily accept any genuine evidence you have that god(s) exist.  Any of them.

    (rampage?)

  17. Sorry, but the burden of proof is on those who says God does exist.
