Why are atheists such angry people? Is it because they know they're wrong but are too arrogant to admit it?

lol No. Atheists aren't generally angry people, it's just sometimes they find it annoying when someone religious preaches to them about God when their own choice in mind is that God does not exist.

Religious people have reasons for God, and Atheists have reasons for no God. In truth, nobody knows, so nobody is right or wrong.

i used to think that...i still think they are lost. i don't think they are angry but highly intelligent maybe too intelligent.

i asked a question months back and the response in most part was thought provoking and interesting to say the least.

I am an atheist and i do not see myself as being an angry person, but thanks for being small minded and labeling us all that way. By the way have you heard any christian "rock" it all sounds a lot angrier then stuff i listen to, and no i don't listen to Marilyn Manson, i only listen to him when i am yelling my angry atheist thoughts at unsuspecting people walking by.

They are just realistic and see this sad world as it is. But who do you think is going to be angry when they find out there is no heaven and wasted endless hours in church?

i am an atheist and no it is bcuz everyone around us is all "dont ya just love god? isnt he great?" and u want 2 shake all of them and scream "he is a figment of ur imagination!!!"

I am an atheist. You see ... sometimes we have a difficult time ignoring all that is wrong in the world and if some of us are miserable its because we are humans who suffer and feel like anyone  and unlike you believers, we do not get high on some false happiness and think that your god will make it all better. You sound to me like a lonely child who  finds company and comfort on imaginary friends and avoiding reality.CHRISTIANITY ITS A LIE,A FRAUD A MYTH THAT WAS PLAGIARIZED FROM OTHER MYTHS THAT EXISTED LONG BEFORE  IT!!

I have known quite a few, but none that were angry. I've heard some express disappointment when someone who thinks they know better trots along telling them how they should think or feel or what they ought to believe. I've seen, felt, and heard more anger expressed by christians than by atheists. No one likes to be told what to do by someone who knows nothing about them.

I might be an angry person, but I don't think so.  I throw things sometimes, and yell when my neighbor annoys me, but other than that I live a pretty peaceful existence.  I am more agnostic than atheist, so maybe that is why :)
