  1. i was taught on back roads how to emergency stop, i would imagine people would get annoying if you tried it in a busy area.  i was also shown how to control a car in a skid on dirt roads. if you want to learn those things you can go to a defensive driving course.

  2. Immaturity and the lack of experience...

  3. Because your taught the basics of driving and not all intstructors teach that. If you want to learn something like that.. Then you can go to a driving school that does teach you things like that in emergencies. Is coastly, like the "peter brock" school of driving in Melbourne..

"L"s n "P" platers have to do certian hours of driving and whatnots these days and it isnt as easy to get a licence as years ago.. I believe that, something as important as that should be always be taught when learning to drive..

Its been a long time since I learnt how to drive a car and I would assume its alot different these days.

  4. to gain experience, i know you are supposed to do that on "L" plates, but thay only give you the basics. at least we , the others, are made aware of the inexperience of a 'P' plate driver

  5. They don't need to learn to emergency stop - they just hit a kangaroo instead! lol

  6. Because Australians rock ********!!

And get your facts straight you clown, we are instructed on how to emergency stop!

We drop speed limits because of safety, not because of anything else. We only dropped them around schools and built up streets.
