Why are bananas good to eat after you eat a bunch of sodium?

  1. Bananas are really sweet which takes away the salty taste. Strawberries also does this.


  2. Because they are high in potassium, which offsets the sodium. Your intake of sodium should always include at least an equal amount of potassium.

  3. Bananas have potassium. Potassium and sodium are essential for muscle contraction for excercising. Eating a banana helps balance it out. Raisins also have a lot of potassium.
