Why are barrel prices going down, yet at the pump they are going up?

  1. it takes a couple of weeks for the gas station prices to reflect the barrel cost.


  2. We are paying for the barrels of gas that were purchased at a higher price. Prices will go down after all the older gas has been used, and we begin using the new, cheaper gas.

  3. All my local stations are at 4.27 gal.  5.20 for diesel.
