  1. Like the person above said, with out biomes we'd all die.  If you have a project about biomes you could throw in something about without biomes life would get boring or something like that.

  2. Everything in this world is very much sensitively interlinked. So, even a very small imbalance, it shakes up the nature like some rollercoaster ride. Well, for your project, refer to: http://www.ucmp.berkeley.edu/exhibits/bi...

http://www.runet.edu/~swoodwar/CLASSES/G... These webpages and the links within will give you enough insights. All the best mate.

  3. No biomes = no people.

The second reason is of course because you have a project about biomes. Sorry that is not helpful.

Biomes provide a number of services that are essential for life on Earth including human life. Those services include: making oxygen, making food, purifying water, purifying air, providing building materials, providing recreation, and providing beauty.

These core ideas should give you something to expand upon. I would recommend taking two or three of them and providing some detail examples after you have done some research on biomes. You should be as specific as possible about what service a particular biome provides, how it provides that service, what the benefits to people are, and what consequences people would suffer if it were not provided.

    I hope that helps.
