Question:

Why are black people more concerned with having equal rights in America than they are in other countries?

Are any black leaders similar to Jessie Jackson or Al Sharpton doing anything about finding equal rights for blacks in other countries or continents? What is the the unemployment rate and educational level in countries like England, Japan, China, Russia, Canada, Mexico, Australia, or South America for black people? Why is equal justice for black people only pushed in America?

They get so upset when there is a perceived injustice here in America, but why don't they do anything for their sisters and brothers in other countries? Do other countries have in their constitution equal rights built in as we do here? If not, aren't black people in America fighting in the wrong location?

  1. The reason is simple, in other countries if they falsley complained about imaginary racism in other countries as they do here they would be laughed at even more.  Racism no longer exist in the USA, today it is just an excuse used by minorities when something doesn't go their way.

  2. BECAUSE WE ARE UNITED STATES CITIZENS JUST LIKE WHITE AMERICANS!!!!!!!! IT IS OUR COUNTRY TOO, I DON'T CARE ABOUT ANY OTHER COUNTRY, WE ARE US CITIZENS PERIOD!!

  3. Why do you care about what black people do as long as it's not effecting you...But really because America is supposed to be a free country it's not...look around.

  4. could be because the US is the pinnacle of international media. Our media overshadows other events happening elsewhere.

  5. Psst.

    Slavery.

    Look it up.

  6. UHHH-

    Fetus F

Don't you know that whites are now the minority in the US.  Get over yourself.

  7. Why should it surprise you that Americans in general and African-Americans in particular are more concerned about America than they are about other countries? Just as people in Nigeria are more concerned about conditions in Nigeria than they are about conditions here. And people in China are more worried about conditions in China than they are worried about America.

  8. I'm trying to remember from my college History classes, but I think it's because in early America they were enslaved, but in European countries they had more freedoms. That's not to say they weren't enslaved anywhere else, but they had to fight for a lot of freedoms even after slavery ended. As did women and other minorities. Slavery unfortunately happens to many cultures and races even in today. It's very sad.

  9. They aren't - you are just in the US and therefore more bombarded with our media.  There have been plenty of other incidents.  South Africa comes to mind...

  10. Because we live here!  Duhhh.

  11. I think that it is because it is promised her in america, in the decloration of independance. Where as in other countries if you were to push it, it might cause a war or something.
