this isn't racist AT ALL. my best friend is black.

but a lot of the african american girls in my school are really mean and pushy, and some are overweight. it seems like thats how it usually is, which i don't understand.

i guess that if you're black you feel like you should be friends with the other black girls, and eventually that group of friends adapts a certain lifestyle and personality.

and a lot of them are really racist and think its okay to call me "white girl". it drives me crazy..because if i ever called someone "black girl", i would be dead.

also, i'm not saying just black people are mean, anyone can be like that.

so basically, i don't think it's about the color of their skin, but the personality.

just my opinion.

Well even though there is plenty of beautiful black women and women of all races. What is the standard of beauty? Or at least what the media says and crams into everyone's brains about whats "beautiful"?

I disagree, it has to do with personality- not color of skin.

If your personality sucks and you are ugly, no dates are easy to come by.

If you are kind, and keep up with yourself, then dates are easy to get.

I don't think they are. The most undesirable thing in a woman is racism and meaningless generalizations!  And that, it is sad to say is not limited to any one race or ethnic group.

Ouch, you're gonna get a lot of **** for that, and maybe me too for this. Say it was true though...most of the black women I know are strong (sometimes domineering) individuals, guys like weak women who they can provide for (or push around). Idk, maybe it's the nappy hair. Black guys can shave it bald, but the women just can't pull off the bald look. They look better when they straighten it though.

You obviously have tunnel vision when it comes to dating. The only black women I know who are not getting dates are the ones who have attitude and attitude comes in all shapes, sizes and races.

Show me a single woman with a great attitude and I'll show you a woman who dates a lot. Now, if you are talking about dating hot guys, then regardless of race, if a woman is hot herself, she'll be dating at the top of the food chain.

I don't have any problems dating.

And I'm a black woman who DOESN'T straighten her hair (so much for that dumb *** theory Mark).

But I don't date because I'm very jaded, angry, and bitter at the moment but that's another story.
