Question:

Why are box set DVD's of television series' edited?

I can understand when it's on cable televistion, it's edited and censored. We just recieved the Rock of Love season 1 DVD set, and you would think it would be uncensored, but it's not. Why do they do that? They could take the bleeps and blurs out, couldn't they?
