Why are boys more attracted to girls than girls to boys?

this is only thought cause guys obviously dont no what girls talk about.  do you not think its weird that the majority of girls that answered this question say that they are attracted to loads of guys but the men dont see it? girls are very secretive but if you have ever been in a group of girls you will know your statement isnt true.

I see men I am attracted to every day. Me and the girls rip 'Torso of the week' out the magazines every week and put the latest guy up at work. (we have quite a colection, all staff are girls except one).

I watch p**n, fantasise about men I fancy and I am also married. Its normal for everyone to be attracted to people. There are loads and loads of guys I have been attracted to it my time, I dont go 1 day without seeing at least a few.

girls are more cautious. we know alot of guys just want one thing from us, we're not always willing to jump in full if we don't know exactly what you want. level down to biology as much as you want - girls are emotion based.

It's probably due to testosterone.  Estrogen doesn't have quite the same effect...Besides, WOMEN are HOT.  Guys are just NOT.

thats kind of interesting.

we went over this in my AP Psychology class this year

and basically, i was taught that this could be explained on an evolutionary or biological scale

both of which have been covered here, but ill help clarify them a little bit

evolutionary was what the other person said about mating with the alpha male

whereas the male just wants to mate.

this is good, basic way to put it

but think about it this way,

the female has one chance every 9 months to reproduce

leaving her to be much more picky than the male who only has to wait 24 hours inbetween s*x

now, if you dont believe in evolution, which i usually chose not to

theres the biological side,

the hormones!

testosterone (male) estrogen (female)

are the two biggest sexual hormones

the testosterone also tends to make guys be a little more sexually active than females

along with doing a couple other things for us

At least from my point of view as a male, I've always kind of felt that this was true. I've always been majorly attracted to almost every girl/women I see. And everywhere I look, I see guys going out of their way to talk to girls; guys hitting on girls; guys asking girls out; and so on. Meanwhile, girls/women just kind of seem to go about their business as if boys/men mean nothing to them.

I have never hear of such a thing.  In school I always had a crush on someone, now that I am married, I still find other men attractive (married not dead mind you) I think boys/men are just more prone to being vocal about being attracted to a girl/woman than vice versa.

Because women feel the need to mate with the "Alpha Male" and men just feel the need to mate.  Women are designed to be more selective in order for her children to have the best genes and men just feel the urge to procreate.

I think that is true in the general sense. I think the main reason is testosterone and how apparently nature created men to just absolutely love the female form and femininity, whereas, women like the male form, but it seems just as many women like girly looking guys as some who like masculine men, therefore not as into masculine features perhaps as much as men are into feminine features. I mean seriously, you never or would never hear a straight man say that about the male body being more attractive would you? If he did, he certainly would have to be bi or would definitely be seen that way, whereas, I guess men are so ugly that it's understandable or women get the free card as far as that goes. And then I have heard how girls are more bicurious than men or have bisexual tendencies or have a more fluid sexuality. This probably also proves it, since if women are as attracted to men as men are to women, wouldn't there be a negation since men and women's bodies are obviously complete contrasts to one another?

The attraction men have for the female/feminine parts and features are the same reason as being repelled and not interested in men's features because they are the opposite of what is attractive to men sexually, therefore, programmed to not be attracted and not finding men's bodies sexually attractive at all and not needing to experiment as the answer is right there visually that a man wants nothing to do with another man sexually. If women are so into masculine features wouldn't there being a negation to women's contrasting features or the answer of not wanting anything to do sexually with women just come from seeing? But that doesn't seem to be the case apparently.

What makes you think boys are more attracted to girls than the other way around? The reverse is quite true but the difference is that girls are less likely to act on their impulses and more likely to obsess over boys with their friends.

Really - I think your looking at this too much from your side or from what you think you are seeing.

If you hear girls when they think or dont care if you hear them, the ntrust me you wouldnt think that.
