Why are breeders so selfish and inconsiderate?

It is blatantly obvious that the REAL reason our planet is going down the crapper is overpopulation! Not lack of natural resources or global warming. Actually both are problematic but unlikely without 6.6 billion people on the planet. Religious zealots say it is their "gods" will to procreate yet that is the epitome of NOT loving your brother. Your self serving baby factory is saying to h**l with the rest of you and your planet, I'll do for me and mine.

I don't really mind so much that they breed (although anything more than 2 is too many) but that they act as though the ability to create more people makes them special. It's not as though it's real difficult either to get pregnant or to make someone that way-why should you expect special consideration?
