Why are bugs so hard to get off the windshield?/What are good ways to to clean the bugs off without products?

A 4 " razor blade scraper, but you must spray a window cleaner on it while scraping !!   Or try a fine steel wool !!!

bug and tar remover, go to an auto parts store like NAPA

wire brush or grinder.. might do it,,, i use windex and a paper towel

Take a bath towel or any size (will just take longer if smaller) and run hot as water as you can stand in the sink . Soak the towel in the hot water. Ring it out some but leave wet and lay on the windshield over the bugs. Let set for 15-20 mins and it will soften up the bugs so you can wipe with the towel or wash the car. You may have to repeat once or twice depending how heavy the bugs are..................Works good on cycle fairings and windshields to................UJN

Just get a  bug cleaning sponge at an auto parts store. It takes a little  elbow grease but it works. What ever you do don't use Steele wool or a razor blade. It will ruin your windshield.
