Why are campaigns held only for a period of one to two days? why not for a longer period?

Having chaired a few of these I can tell you by the time the actual event takes place the volunteers are exhausted.  A good fundraising event is months in the planning and setting up.   Another reason to keep it short is so potential donors do not become annoyed.  This happens more often than you think.
