Why are caucasian women generally more attractive than black women?

I'm not holding any prejudiced views here, I'm just simply stating what I've seen! In America, even though it's 2008, the white race is STILL seen as the race of "purity". In President-day America, people STILL hold prejudiced views of others. I'm half African American, and half caucasian, so of course I'm against prejudice. I don't want confrontational answers, but answers where people state their opinions in a non-confrontational sense. I accept people of all different creeds, colors, races, religious backgrounds, ALL people, though I CAN admit there are certain people that I would never date, but become friends with. There is beauty, and ugly in every race YES, I get that, but I still ask my question. Why are caucasian women GENERALLY, but not ALWAYS, more attractive than African American women?

i reckon its just a case of what one thinks is attractive... you obviously think white women are better looking.. that dont mean your racist its just what you prefer and what you find attractive.. some ppl like fat ppl you now what im trying to say but i reckon black women are still hot...

im half african american and half caucasian too! but i think its a matter of opinion i think that both races have very beautiful women so its really hard to answer your question

I'm not racist but,

I find fair skin very attractive, I also love natural blondes and redheads with colored eyes (of course not all of them, but those are my favorite traits).

Not everyone thinks what you have just stated, trust me.

The question ....really is a matter of opinion...

Some would say a German shepard dog was better looking than a labrador.....so why don't dog lovers just by labradors ?

because we as human beings don't just choose on looks alone....

So your question although unintentional  will annoy other races....because the question suggests superiority over another race based on looks....

The value of a person is not determined by there looks....but by there integrity and kindness to others......

They're not.  You've just internalized a racist beauty standard.  And you probably don't spend enough time around black people. Otherwise, I think you'd know better.

beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder. I've seen Americans go crazy about my colour (brown from India). While in India, Indians find me too dark. What does that mean ? In one person's eyes i may be pretty but for another i am not.

I'm white, (Australian) and I think darker skinned people are WAY more attractive.



White is boring, and also, at work, my lilly white skin gets dirty REAL quick. lol.
