Because people don't care about paying up to double the price around the most busiest time of the year. (And I don't know why!?)

Because they're banking on the fact that it's a holiday and some cruiseships tend to have holiday meals or New Years festivities that cost more, for a more special occasion, so they also charge more.

It's the law of supply and demand.  The higher the demand at that time of year reduces the supply of space on the cruise ships, and they can charge more money.

Simple answer: Kids are out of school.  Same applies (in general) to Easter break and summer.

Look at cruises in early December or January,  same cabin, same itinerary, same ship, can be 50% or less than Xmas-New Years...

HOWEVER they do not hold your hand. What I mean is that you need to know what cruise you want, what ship, date and category. You cannot call them, they do not answer a phone.

They are internet based only, completely legitimate, and offer a bonus or discount that most other agents don't offer.
