  1. Orange clouds = low angle of refraction of sunlight.  Almost always occurs at sunrise and sunset.  Usually, light is refracted at the blue wavelength, but when the sun gets real low, the angle of incidence changes causing orange/red colors to be seen.

    Green sky = almost always occuring due to a hail storm... same principle as the orange clouds... you have light travel thru the ice/water in the cloud and the green light is what is reflected back to your eye
