Why are daily IDF "incursions" in the Gaza not reported by the mass media?

They use tanks to smash crops and frequently civilians at random. What forces are keeping this out of the media in America?

The Israeli IDF people prevent most journalists from covering the daily incursions.

Reporting in Gaza is very restrictive  . many western news organisations  are very lazy & rely on second hand information which sometimes results in misinformation.

  Al jazeera plays their part in trying to broadcast the truth but they are hampered in their efforts by a zionist sympathetic media.

     Even when massacres of Palestinians occur , they are just refered to by numbers . ie 10 palestinians killed , 15 killed or sometimes on rare occassion the media may reluctantly  add "women & children "  killed.

  When the zionist die,..... they all have names .

This demonstrates the bias which exist in the media towards the occupiers .

  The zionist & their supporters have for a long time attempted to own & therefore control the mass media . Unfortunetly for them we now have the www .

   Please continue to expose these criminals at every oppurtunity .

What  Fabian ( below me)  says is not true . I have heard young jewish recruits who are learning to fly  F16 fighter planes , openly express their desire to kill as many palestinians as possible.

Jake...the crude mortar attacks are not covered as they very rarely result in any injuries .

25% of all U.S. reporters are jewish and at an executive level the percentage is much higher,so obviously there will exist extreme bias.

Many forces. While it's easy to say the Jews control the media, it's far more complex--after all, the Jews protesting to Israeli atrocities hardly get anywhere. In truth, almost all Americans are biased towards Israel, due to many things (it makes them feel good about themselves, they don't know any better, and some Islamophobia probably plays in.) When IDF attacks ARE mentioned, they are ignored or considered lies. If you pay close attention, there is American media acknowledging the fact that 360 Palestinians were killed by the IDF this year (as opposed to three Israelis killed by Hamas missiles.) They just downplay it, lest they spark outrage.

The IDF and almost all forces on the world are having strict rules of giving information to the press and keep many secrets. To say something about your prejudice that they use tanks to shot at civilians.. it's not true, I'd know that when I was with them in Gaza and also other places around it. The missions are to stop terrorists and / or take them out of business, not to kill innocent people. Do you think it's fun for them to see when any civilian got hurt or injured by accident when they attacked a terrorist group? If Hammas would care about their people, they wouldn't let them run into such attacks but that is what they are doing. If you don't believe, feel free to go on holiday there.

To be honest, also the US Army probably keep much information about what they do in Iraq and Afghanistan out of the media.
