  1. I've just enrolled at the Douglas Bader School of dancing

  2. because they are famous or because its the owner of the place lol

  3. Because some people are famous dancers.

  4. Not all dance studios are named after people. And if they are it's probably named after the person who founded it. If I made something awesome, I'd name it after me, too!

    :)

  5. well the name of the studio might be the name of the owner or maybe it is in memory of a certain inspiring dancer/person.

  6. The dance studios in my hometown are named after the owners and principal teachers of dance. So, why not?  They are paying the bills and paying the rent.

  7. 'Cause it's cool.

  8. not all dance schools are named after a person.

most of them are because that person was probably the dancer that was the best for the school.

  9. They're often named after the head of the dance school or the founder of the dance school.

however sometimes they are named after famous or inspirational people who have perhaps been to the dance studio or are from the area.

  10. I didn't know that they were. Buildings are often named after people whose achievements are famous, usually when they're dead though. Maybe the one you're referring to was founded by the person it was named after, maybe they were an outstanding dancer or perhaps they were a well loved person who is dead.

  11. because they own the place?

    and they want to?
