to McCain's choice of a female vice president? I have been on the YA category for a long time and these obscene, sexual remarks were not slung at Obama or Hillary by the REpublicans. C'mon people, she is a mother of five children, show a little decency.

  1. Examples?  I haven't heard anything rude and crude.  What's rude and crude is McCain calling his wife the c-word in front of reporters!

  2. I have always found the dirtiest, sleaziest, and worst group has been the Republican endorsed 527s. Never in all my years have I seen politics stoop so low and twist the truth like a pretzel. Of course, it fire up the base but it truly disgusts me and any other common sense individual.

  3. McCin picked her because she's a woman, makes it fair game. Anyway, hardly anything as crude as what conservatives do.

  4. Rudeness seems to cross party lines.  There are tacky people everywhere.

  5. Political bigotry.

I saw similar behavior when President Clinton was in office.

    It's contemptible, regardless.

    Democrats for McCain/Palin.

  6. Please....you weren't listening when republicans attacked Obama, his wife, his children.....it very much DID happen.

  7. She should go home and take care of her children. What kind of mother abandons her children to follow her own dreams. She is selfish no wonder she's a republican!

  8. It isn't dem's that are disrespectful, it's people in general.  Whether you are a rep/dem - I feel like I continue to say this - look at what questions are posted here?  Do you honestly think that represents either party to the tee?  If so, that is really scary!

  9. they speak just the same way about Mccain....not speaking the same way about palin would actually be sexist

  10. Oh please!  So because you have kids, we're supposed to be soft?  Doesn't Bill Clinton have kids?  Don't all the candidates have kids?  We're supposed to be nice because she has ovaries?  Get real!

  11. They aren't all like that, just some are.  I would imagine it's about the same percentage as that of republicans who act in the same manner.  I would never be able to prove that, of course.

  12. you are completely naive if you think mccain picked palin for any other reason than that she is a woman. clinton was supported because she is an accomplished woman- not merely because is was a woman; consequently, people took her seriously.

and slamming obama on religion, race, and patriotism isn't crude and disrespectful at all. show a little candor yourself.

  13. We are simply trying to keep up with republicans.

  14. There are many people who are crude and disrespectful from both the Democrat and Republican side.

On Yahoo Answers and any other networking site you will find a lot of Pervs.  These are the same people who think that 8 year old girls in swimsuits are hot.  Just ignore them.

As far as Sarah Palin is concerned, the whole lack of qualifications argument will not hold-up.  Qualifications is not the real issue outside of the qualifications outlined in the U.S. Constitution.  The real issue is will she be able to make choices that are right for the United States of America.  The answer to that question is a resounding YES.

  15. I agree that the crude remarks are uncalled for and stupid.  At the same time its not something unique to Democrats. You must be wearing blinders if you have not seen the same types of angry and crude things said about Hillary Clinton, Obama's wife, and Nancy Pelosi for years. Open your eyes and ears.

    edit:

And Chelsea Clinton. Here is a an example in the link below.

  16. I must believe any man or woman whether democrat or republican that believes it's o.k. to murder innocent unborn or partially born babies by sticking sharp scissiors in the back of their little heads could not be otherwise....james m. hillman

  17. It only works if it works for them do you not see that , they were all about change, new blood, family values, a woman in office , none of that is there now so they have to go and disagree with the very things that alittle less than a week and a half ago they stood so staunchly for, Now you see the true colors

  18. Better get your facts straight.

It's politics...and as in life, you can't have it both ways. You can't want to compete on a level playing field (eg: equal rights) and then complain about her treatment with the defense of her being a mother of 5.

Second, this isn't, "American Idol", it's someone who if the 72 year old McCain gets elected, and gets ill, she could be President. If that's someone who needs to be treated with kid gloves at any level, then she shouldn't be considered for the job.

And, for the record, McNasty McCain's campaign has been at the forefront of slinging since he felt he might lose. Good judgment? Nice? Neither. Just politics as usual (which he promised not to do).
