  1. Because the first logical measure is to remove "non physical buyers" from oil market as your bipartisan comission concluded.

Energy hedging markets should be made for those who need them.

  2. because God forbid a solution happens during GWs presidency.

they care more about BDS than the people who hired them.

fire them all, already! in nov.  fire the %$#mms in the polling booth.

  3. but we are drilling

    FACT :

The United States is the Worlds Third (3rd) largest petroleum producer,

though it has only the 12th largest crude reserve.

  4. It's because they want to redistribute wealth and continuing to give our money to foreign countries is part of the plan.

  5. they're race traitors and elitist they don;t care about the average american and what ills we have to suffer!!!

  6. I am for drilling more wells and building more refineries. The reasons I could see is in the environmental impact which I think would be minimal unless there is a bad accident. I also think they realize that just because we produce more fuel doesn't mean it will stay in the US it will go on the world market and to the highest bidder. It could also be that it will take some time for drilling to have very much impact or our current situation. While we should be looking for an approach that we can sustain like wind, solar, tidal, geothermal, and natural gas.  I have read in a few different places that we only have about a ten year supply once we were to get to capacity. I would like to see more effort put into developing and improving the current technology's and developing new.

  7. Lets look at this.  Is our oil too cheap?  Should we buy oil from ourselves or from foreign nations?  Do we have sufficient alternative energy sources  to replace our current fuel demand?  If I answered yes to any of these I might be opposed to drilling.  If I answered no to any of these there must be something wrong with my brain to oppose drilling.  George W. Bush lifted the executive moratorium on offshore drilling this week.  That's all he can do as president.  By the way if he was so oil profit hungry why didn't he lift this moratorium in 2000?  Don't the Democrats have any friends with an interest in oil?  I think we should open our eyes here and vote accordingly.
